What is PVD coating?
It is a surface treatment method called “PVD”, which stands for “Physical Vapor Deposition”.
Physical vapor deposition refers to the principle that “when water is boiled, water droplets adhere to the inside of the container”.
Using this principle, the metal for the film is dissolved and evaporated by plasma in a vacuum furnace to form positive ions, which are then reacted with the introduced gas to form negative ions, which collide with the surface of the product to be coated, forming a film.
A film with an oblique structure with excellent durability is formed, and it has many excellent features such as high hardness and high adhesion.
PVD coating reinforces and protects the durability of metal surfaces.It can improve various performance of metal such as abrasion resistance, adhesion resistance, and mold release property.

What is Titanium 64?
Titanium can be mainly divided into two types: pure titanium and titanium alloy.
A typical example of titanium alloy is JIS60 (Ti 6AL-AV), a high-strength alloy used in aircraft.
This high-strength alloy type JIS 60 is commonly called “64 titanium”.
Titanium is characterized by its excellent corrosion resistance and light specific gravity.
Titanium alloys in particular have the highest specific strength of all the metals in use.
While most metals become softer and lose their strength at higher temperatures, titanium alloy can maintain its strength up to about 600 degrees.
